This notice applies to applications submitted through the website, by email or through another channel accepted by us. The general privacy policy also applies.
Applicant data and sources
We process contact details, selected vacancy, job title, job ID and location, German-language skills, professional experience, cover letter, availability and any CVs, certificates, images or other documents you voluntarily provide. The information normally comes directly from you.
Purposes and legal bases
Data is used to assess your suitability, communicate with you and decide whether to establish an employment relationship. The main legal basis is section 26(1) BDSG in conjunction with Art. 88 GDPR. Legal obligations, legal claims and a separately consented candidate pool may provide additional legal bases.
Website form, recipients and access
Applications are encrypted in transit and emailed to our designated recruitment recipient. PDF, JPG and PNG uploads are removed from the temporary server location after transmission and are not retained in the WordPress media library. Access is limited to people involved in recruitment and required hosting, email and IT providers. WhatsApp is intended only for short questions.
Avoid unnecessary sensitive information
Please do not provide information about health, pregnancy, ethnic origin, political, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade-union membership or sexual orientation unless such information is exceptionally required by law.
Retention and deletion
If no employment relationship is established, application data is normally deleted no later than six months after the recruitment process ends. Longer storage requires a specific legal dispute, statutory obligation or other documented legal basis.
A candidate pool requires separate voluntary consent and is limited to twelve months. Consent can be withdrawn at any time with future effect.
Provision and decisions
Providing data is voluntary, but the application cannot be processed without required fields. There is no solely automated decision-making or profiling.
Your rights
Subject to statutory requirements, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, withdrawal or objection. Contact info@dma-gebaeudereinigung.de. You may also complain to the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
